YALPAE approaches partnership with care, clarity, and accountability.

All partnerships and sponsorships must align with YALPAE’s mission, vision, and values and must not compromise the organisation’s independence or reputation. The Constitution provides that partnerships require appropriate approval, due diligence, conflict checks, written agreements, and transparent reporting.

That means we value partnerships that are:

  • ethical and transparent
  • respectful of youth leadership
  • clear in purpose and responsibilities
  • supportive of dignity, safeguarding, and accountability
  • built for real impact rather than appearance alone

How We Work With Partners

YALPAE seeks partnerships that are thoughtful and well-structured.

Before entering into a partnership, appropriate due diligence may be conducted, including reputational, legal, financial, and conflict-of-interest review where necessary. Material partnerships should be governed by written agreements that clearly define scope, duration, responsibilities, contributions, reporting expectations, branding, confidentiality, and termination terms. These standards are reflected in YALPAE’s constitutional partnership provisions and procurement framework.


This helps protect the integrity of both YALPAE and its partners while creating a stronger foundation for collaboration.

The Constitution requires that partnerships be documented, reported, and managed in a way that protects YALPAE’s independence, public trust, and mission. Financial oversight, internal controls, and organisational reporting also form part of the wider governance environment in which partnerships operate.
